Charity Launch

I’ve wanted to contribute to the massive effort made by the NHS and many other key workers who have done such a brilliant job. I became a volunteer responder but had very few calls for assistance. Thought that I’d be better placed trying to raise some money for charity by making some colourful sculptures, using the rainbow theme.

Choosing a charity wasn’t easy, there are so many in need. I’ve chosen Rufuge, supporting women and children against domestic abuse and a local charity here in Martock: Martock Wayfarers Club who help people with learning disabilities and really do need every pound they can get.

RAINBOW FLOWERS, with a donation to charity.

Five petaled flower on a wiggly stem. The petals have a random rainbow colouring and are made from scrap stainless steel, while the rest of the flower and stem are made from bare steel and will rust outside. Strangely, these are best placed in a shady spot or indoors, as the colours show up much more vividly.

Two sizes:

Small £20 each: Flower head is 10cm wide on a 100cm stem

£6 goes to charity

Large £25 each: Flower head is 17cm wide on a 115cm stem

£8 goes to charity

Postage to UK is for £8 for one, two or three stems
